Spay/Neuter and Basic Veterinary Care Vouchers
The Humane Society of the Uwharries has launched a new program to help locals pay for essential veterinary care for their pets.
In partnership with Sandhills Spay and Neuter Clinic located in Vass, N.C., the voucher program provides support for basic services, including vaccinations, heartworm testing, wellness exams, and fecal testing for parasites. Spay and neuter procedures are also covered.
This program is meant to help seniors and other community members to afford routine care and prevent more serious health issues, especially for older pets that may have gone without regular treatment. The goal is to keep pets healthy and in their homes.
